Our Mission

“…for the millions of young adults who have recently dropped out of church, Christianity is a failed religion. Why? Because it has failed to address the dominant societal and global realities of their lifetime: systemic injustice, poverty, and dysfunction.” -  Brian McLaren,Everything Must Change: Jesus, Global Crises, and the Revolution of Hope

Together we are creating a radically organic community where:  love is a blessing; diversity a gift; worship a celebration; & life a journey!

  • “radical” = root, essential, basic, pervasive, and favoring major change; i.e., create an environment where we dig beneath the layers of tradition, assumption, prejudice and preference that have obscured the essence of spirituality and faith.
  • “organic”= of living things, developing naturally, intrinsic, naturally efficiently organized, i.e., the church is the community pooling together our collective listening, wisdom, experience, gifts and challenges  and questions to nurture a healthy vibrant environment where the body develops our ministries; spiritual questions are explored;  worship evolves authentically; and justice is pursued.  All who embrace the vision and mission of the congregation are invited to participate in planning and facilitating the various activities of the ministry teams.

Our collective challenge is to work together to explore and to nurture new ways of being.
